Another One Bites the Dust....

Well it's Official.....We survived our first soccer season with three of our children participating.  To say the least, we have been  busy.  With Rocky coaching Noah's team and assisting with Riley's when possible, our days have been somewhat hectic.  Five days of practice in a week was pretty interesting.  Madie practiced Mondays and Wednesdays, Noah practiced Tuesdays and Thursdays, and Riley practiced Tuesdays and Fridays.  GEEEEZZZ.  My house has never needed such TLC.  Kidding aside, we had a blast.  Thank goodness it was only 8 weeks.... I am a crazy fan and my pictures are not very good.  It is hard to cheer and focus at the same time...

Madyson Turned 5!!!

                                                                     

                           

Madyson Mae turned FIVE this year.  We had a fun bike riding party at the park and the girls had a blast.  From nail polish spin the bottle to bike riding to decorating flip flops, every base was covered.  We are so blessed to have Madyson in our lives.  She is such a sweet spirit.  She loves to play with her sister and STILL loves being a princess, having tea parties and being GIRLY!!! I guess she really is like her mom.  She will be starting Kindergarten in the fall and is so excited.  Madyson loves drawing pictures(especially hearts). She loves to shop and has a serious infatuation with finding lady bugs.  We were at a soccer game a few Saturdays ago and a man in the stands made a comment that sums Madie up to a tee..."I love nothing more than to see pink fingernails playing in the dirt"  There she was sitting on the ground covered in dirt with those little pink fingers shining through.  You can tell she has two older brothers for sure.....She likes to dress like a princess, but likes getting dirty with the boys too!!!!!

Cookies, Games and Story Reading!!!!


I have gotten my love for the Christmas season from my mother.  It was always a magic time growing up in our home.  I appreciate her thoughtful efforts to have a special day planned for our family.  My kids have the best grandparents in the world.  From cookie making to game playing to story reading to a delicious lunch, every base was covered.  I am so thankful that they are here to spend quality time with my kiddos.  Not to say, there weren't a few minor glitches (tired children) we had an awesome time.
